This is my fixed-position Aurora/Noctilucent Cloud (NLC) Camera and is located 53° North in North Lincolnshire, England.

This is the view of the current Northern Sky... I am using my Nikon D5300 with a 10.5mm f2.8 Nikkor fisheye lens... various settings are used using a program called ControlMyNikon which captures the images remotely... average settings normally are - ISO1600 with a shutter time of 1.6 seconds with a picture taken every 10 seconds... (settings change depending on lunar position in the sky too) this is uploaded by NCH's Fling FTP software. The camera runs between the hours of sunset and sunrise and if the sky is clear of course!! This is to preserve the camera's shutter life! If you zoom into the image to the East (right) you can just see the Humber Bridge's tower lights!

Latest Aurora Image - if there is any!
