The Latest European Magnetometer Readings in the Northern Hemisphere.
Below are a number of magnetometers that are located in Norway, Denmark and Finland and are ranked according to their most northern latitude. When a geomagnetic storm starts the most northern magnetometers will respond, as the geomagnetic storm strengthens the more southern magnetometers will respond. At my location, the stations Dombås (DOB) and Solund (SOL) will react as the magnetometer falls further south. At this point, the European Middle Latitudes will have a chance of seeing the aurora low on the northern horizon as long as it's clear and light pollution due north of your location is kept to a minimum.
